Care, Maintenance and Cleaning Instructions

In our continuing effort to ensure that your experience with Robert’s Aluminum Furniture is not only positive with regards to comfort, quality and design, but also with product care of your pool and patio furniture and to ensure you get the most out of your investment in quality, please follow our simple Care and Maintenance guide lines.

FURNITURE SLING
Sling materials should always be cleaned frequently. Brush to remove dust or dirt; Spot wash by spongy briskly with a soapy solution in water and rinse thoroughly with clean water and allow air drying. To clean mildew stains, prepare a mild solution of 1⁄4 cup (2 oz.) of bleach, plus two capful of natural soap per gallon of water. Spray the entire area and allow to soaking in. If necessary, scrub vigorously with a sponge or clean cloth. Rinse thoroughly with clean water and air dry.

PAINTED FINISHES
Painted finishes are used on aluminum seating, tables, and umbrellas. Periodically clean the finish with a sponge or soft bristle brush using a cleaning solution with 1⁄4 cup (2 oz.) mild liquid soap in a gallon of water. Rinse thoroughly. Avoid using abrasive cleaners. Ii is recommended that furniture inland away from salt air environments be cleaned quarterly or as needed. Furniture near coastal areas, salt spray must be cleaned from frames on a regular basis (Bi-monthly) or finish may oxidize, discolor and/or blister. Salt spray built up over time without proper cleaning will deteriorate the frame finish. This is not covered under the warranty. Caution! When using floor cleaning chemicals such as chlorine or muriatic acid, furniture MUST be removed from area.

MOVING PARTS
It is the responsibility of the furniture owner to periodically check all nuts and bolts to see that they are always properly tightened. This will ensure that all moving parts are secure. Failure to inspect and maintain these areas may result in disassembly or breakage of part and void warranty.

VINYL STRAPS
Vinyl straps must be cleaned frequently with a sponge or soft bristle brush using a cleaning solution with 1⁄4 cup (2 oz.) mild liquid soap in a gallon of water. Rinse thoroughly. For furniture with woven straps, be sure to lift and clean beneath the strap intersection.

TABLE TOPS
Acrylic: Avoid build-up of grease and stains by washing regularly with a cleaning solution with 1⁄4 cup (2 oz.) mild liquid soap in a gallon of lukewarm water.

Glass: Use glass cleaner with ammonia.

Fiberglass: Use glass cleaner with ammonia, we recommend periodic waxing of the fiberglass top with a high-grade automotive liquid wax to help maintain, preserve, and restore the luster of the finish.
